i yelled this at a bunch of right wingers today.
to expect the fossil record to preserve the entire evolution of life is patently absurd. fossilization is a tricky process, if you understand life, you know this.. how often is it that the possum you smushed fossilized? you’re not running over the critter in dry sand or some goofy wet mud, are you?
NO.
that we have a t-rex to look at is lucky for us, so embrace it. it’s now here for us to see, so at least try to understand the world they lived in. maybe they didn’t have ipads to record their being, but THAT SHIT HAPPENED. deal with it.

i’ve never wanted to be part of of a conversation more in my life.
so as soon as i got on campus a couple of hours ago, i see these two african fellas laughing. proper HA HA belly laughing. one of the pair finally catches his breath, wipes his tears away, and says, ”Gary Busey.” and they both started laughing like maniacs again.
